中国比较文学学会中美比较文化研究会第六届年会将于2008年11月27日- 30日在海口市海南大学旅游学院召开。现将有关事项通知如下：
一.中心议题：生态•社会•文化•文学
二.具体议题：1．生态文化与中美文化的跨学科研究；2．中美地域文化的相互影响研究；3．跨文化的中美文学对话；4．中美社会文化中的歧视现象对比研究；5．中美核心价值观念的共性与差异研究；6．中美教育（教学）理念的共性与差异研究；7．生态文化、女性文化与生态女性文化的相关性研究；8．中美文化比较的其他研究课题。
三、论文摘要（500字左右）交稿时间：2008年9月1日前。大会正式邀请发出日期：2008年9月15日起。
四、会 务 费: 600元；在读研究生300元；国外代表200美元。

Call for Papers
The upcoming sixth Bi-Annual Conference of Sino-American Comparative Cultural Studies will be held at Hainan University, Haikou, P. R. China on November 27-30, 2008.

The 6th Bi-Annual Conference of Sino-American Comparative Cultural Studies will be held on November 27-30, 2008 at Hainan University, Haikou, China. Scholars in China and other countries and places who are interested are welcome to participate. Following is important information about the coming conference.
I. Conference theme: Ecology•Society•Culture•Literature
II. Specific topics:
2.1 Interdisciplinary study on eco-culture and Chinese and American cultures;
2.2 Mutual influences of Chinese and American geographical or sub cultures;
2.3 Dialogues between Chinese and American literatures;
2.4 Comparative studies on prejudices in China and the United States;
2.5 Similarities and differences between the core values in China and the United States;
2.6 Comparative studies on educational ideals in China and the United States;
2.7 Relations between eco-culture, feminist culture and eco-feminist culture;
2.8 Other related studies.
III. Deadline of abstract submission (about 500 words): September 1, 2008. Paper acceptance notifications and formal invitations will be sent by email by September 15, 2008.
